WINS ZONING VARIANCE FOR SYOSSET DAY CARE CENTER
Kiddie Academy Day Care Center Allowed to Open in Syosset
Shopping Center
Mineola, February 04, 2002 — Judy L. Simoncic, Esq.,
an Associate with the Mineola based law firm of Forchelli,
Curto, Schwartz, Mineo & Carlino. LLP (The Firm),
recently obtained favorable decisions from the Town of Oyster
Bay Zoning Board of Appeals and the Town of Oyster Bay Town
Board, allowing the Kiddie Academy Day Care Center to operate
in a portion of the existing Syosset Shopping Center at
46 Ira Road in Syosset.
“This is a positive project that will provide a benefit
to the local community,” noted Simoncic. “Day
care needs are increasing all across Long Island, and we
are pleased that the Town of Oyster Bay agreed to help meet
the need in Syosset.”
The zoning approvals paved the way for the facility’s
Grand Opening, which took place Saturday, February 23, 2002.
