SABINO APPOINTED AS COUNSEL TO The Firm
Mineola, March 04, 2002 — Anthony J. Sabino, Esq.,
a resident of Bethpage, NY, has joined the law firm of Mineola-based
Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana, LLP as Counsel in the practice areas of real estate
and land use.
In announcing Sabino’s addition to the 36-attorney,
full-service law firm, The Firm Managing Partner Jeffrey
D. Forchelli, said: “Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo,
Carlino & Cohn will be well served by Anthony’s
wide-ranging expertise and broad experience. We welcome
his addition to our ranks.”
Before joining The Firm, Sabino was Deputy Town Attorney
for the Town of Oyster Bay for ten years. Prior to serving
with the Town of Oyster Bay, he was a partner in the firm
Carmen, Callahan & Sabino. Sabino consults with special
improvements districts and was chairman of the Long Island
Water Conference Legal Committee. He has presented lectures
on Labor Law and Municipal Law to various professional associations,
and argued landmark cases before the Second Circuit Court
of Appeals and the New York State Court of Appeals. Sabino
continues to serve municipal and private clients in the
areas of land use, real estate financing, environmental
issues and municipal law.
A graduate of Boston College, Sabino earned his J.D. at
Fordham Law School. He and his family reside in Bethpage,
where he is active with the Bethpage Chamber of Commerce
and the Bethpage Community Council. He is a past president
of the Bethpage Rotary Club.
