DIANA FANTANO, ESQ., CHAIRS ANNUAL
FUNDRAISER
Mineola, May 16, 2002 — Diana Fantano, Esq., an associate
with the Mineola-based law firm Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana, LLP and a resident
of Northport, NY, is working to brighten the future for
the Huntington Arts Council by chairing “The Crystal
Ball at Coindre Hall,” this year’s annual fund-raiser.
Scheduled for Friday, June 7, 2002, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
at Coindre Hall, located at 101 Browns Road in Huntington,
the event is in honor of Sandi Bloomberg — a former
dancer and choreographer — and it will center on an
auction of unique crystal and glass artwork created by regional
artists especially for the occasion.
“This promises to be a successful, fun-filled evening,”
said Fantano. “The Huntington Arts Council annual
fund-raiser is an exciting occasion that brings together
members of our community, local artists, civic groups, and
businesses, to demonstrate support for the many educational
and cultural programs sponsored by the Arts Council that
serve to enrich all of our lives.”
At Forchelli, Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn,
LLP, Diana Fantano concentrates her practice in zoning,
land use and real estate law, with experience in the areas
of commercial lending and tax certiorari. Before embarking
on her law career, Ms. Fantano, a graduate of The Juilliard
School, pursued a professional career as a ballet dancer,
performing on stages around the world.
Ms. Fantano, who also serves on the Huntington Arts Council
Board of Directors, said that in addition to the silent
and live auctions, the program would include dinner and
dancing with music provided by the Hank Lane Orchestra,
a five-piece band that provides music at the Rainbow Room
in New York City. “The generous contribution of original
crystal and glass pieces for our auction has been tremendous,”
continued Fantano. “New York is home to our country’s
finest artists, and we are extremely fortunate in the caliber
of artwork we will be offering during the auctions.”
Reservations for the formal event ($150 per person, black-tie
optional) are available for those wishing to attend. More
information about “The Crystal Ball at Coindre Hall”
