E. CURTO NAMED PARTNER AT The Firm
Mineola, February 03, 2003 — The Mineola-based law
firm, Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana, LLP, has named Andrew E. Curto a partner of
the firm.
Curto, a resident of Glenwood Landing, joined The Firm
in 1999, concentrating his practice in civil litigation,
including matters of antitrust, business, corporate, employment,
real estate and construction law.
“Andrew has practiced in many areas of litigation
— in both federal and state courts,” noted The Firm
Managing Partner Jeffrey D. Forchelli. “His experience
and his skill serve our clients well, and we are all pleased
to have Andrew become a partner at the firm.”
Prior to joining The Firm, Curto practiced law as partner
of Dandeneau & Curto, LLP, preceded by employment with
the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Suffolk Country
District Attorney’s office and Matthew Bender Co.,
a well-known legal publisher.
Curto earned his J.D. at Hofstra University School of Law
and a B.A. in economics from SUNY at Albany. He is a member
of the Nassau County and Suffolk County Bar Associations,
and is admitted to practice before the New York State Bar,
as well as the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern
Districts of New York. He and his wife, Lara, enjoy competitive
sailboat racing and are actively involved in racing on the
East Coast.
