Mineola, December 04, 2005 — Attorney Donald Jay Schwartz,
name partner of Mineola based law firm of Forchelli, Curto,
Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn LLP (The Firm), appeared
in the latest issue of the New York Law Journal as a result
of his winning a motion to have a Long Island attorney sanctioned
for seeking to hold Lake Success Justice Court Judge, Howard
L. Boris, in contempt of court.
Donald Jay Schwartz is an expert in commercial litigation
involving such diverse matters as commercial landlord and
tenant, personal injury, real estate, partnerships, insurance
and contract law. He has been a Village Prosecutor and is
a member of the Panel of Arbitrators of the American Arbitrators
Association. Mr. Schwartz is a member of the New York State
District Attorney’s Association, New York State Trial
Lawyers Association, Jewish Lawyers Association, New York
State Bar Association, and as a member of the Nassau County
Bar Association, serves on its Commercial Litigation, Supreme
Court and Grievances Committees.
