V. Curto Seals Deal to Bring Lamborghini to Champion Motor
Group
Mineola, October 02, 2006 — Anthony V. Curto, a resident
of Northport, NY, and partner-in-charge of the Forchelli,
Curto, Schwartz, Mineo, Carlino & Cohn (The Firm)
Corporate and Commercial Department, successfully secured
a deal that will add Lamborghini sports cars to the impressive
fleet of luxury automobiles that Champion Motor Group offers.
Assisting in the coordination of all transactional matters,
Tony Curto facilitated the deal between Champion Motor Group
and Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A, the Italy-based manufacturer
of the exclusive Lamborghini brand. Negotiations involved
various financial agreements and matters pertaining to compliance
issues, trademarks, conditions of sale and pricing/payment
terms.
“With high-end automobiles that include Bentley, Maserati,
Rolls Royce and Aston Martin, among others, Champion Motor
Group has cemented its position as the largest seller of
specialty cars on Long Island and one of the largest Bentley
dealers in the entire nation,” Tony explained. “Adding
Lamborghini to its outstanding roster of unique automobiles
will further establish Champion Motor Group as the premier
provider of luxury cars.”
Champion Motor Group and Bentley Long Island will welcome
Lamborghini Long Island to their Nassau County headquarters
located at 115 South Service Road in Jericho, NY. The new
70,000 square-foot indoor showroom is currently under state-of-the-art
renovations scheduled to be completed later this year.
Mr. Curto's work centers on structuring, negotiating and
documenting a variety of complex transactions on behalf
of regionally and nationally known clients. He counsels
public and private corporations in major transactional matters,
including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnering
arrangements and the reorganization of business enterprises
and assets, across a variety of industries. He also represents
corporations in formation, early stage and venture capital
financings, and advises clients in private placements and
public offerings of securities.
Mr. Curto has been associated with a number of high-profile
matters, including the creation of the Bernard M. Baruch
Foundation. He has also represented an assortment of celebrities,
personalities and corporations including, Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn,
Harry Chapin, Mike Francesa, Father Tom Hartman, Liza Minnelli,
Yoo-Hoo and Dairy Barn, among others.
An advocate of community service, Mr. Curto has received
numerous awards for his active role in community endeavors,
including the 1984 Congressional Achievement Award and the
1987 Martin Luther King "Living the Dream" Service
Award. Mr. Curto is a regular panel member of "Father
Tom and Friends," a weekly talk show televised by Telecare,
and has been a featured speaker at numerous New York State
and Suffolk County Bar Association seminars.
Mr. Curto is admitted to the New York State Bar Association,
the United States Tax Court and United States District Court
for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
