LLP, has authored a chapter in the recently released Aspatore
Book’s Inside the Minds series. Mr. Smolev
authored the chapter, “Avoiding Potential Pitfalls
for the Estate Planning Client,” for Inside the
Minds: Estate Planning Client Strategies, Aspatore
Books, 2009.

Terence
E. Smolev (Washington College of Law at The American
University, 1969; New York University Graduate School
of Law {LL.M. in Taxation}, 1974) began his legal career
at the international accounting firm of Peat Marwick
Mitchell & Co
(now KPMG).
Mr. Smolev has been an adjunct professor
at Hofstra University Schools of Business and Law, where
he taught accounting, business law, tax law and estate
planning. He has edited
tax-related professional texts, authored articles for The
New York Law Journal and has served as an expert
source for a number of Newsday articles. Mr. Smolev
was featured in the Long Island Business News’ listing of “Who’s
Who in Tax Law” (2006), ‘Who’s
Who in America’ and ‘Who’s Who
in American Law.’
