S. Alesi, Partner at Forchelli, Curto,
Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana LLP was noted
in The Suffolk Lawyer for her EAC honor at the
2010 Aloha Golf Classic event. The
Annual Aloha Golf Classic and Tropical Paradise Evening
benefits EAC’s 70 programs including Meals
on Wheels, Long Island Mediation and the Suffolk County
Child Advocacy Center.
Ms. Alesi was selected because of her leadership in business and in the community.
Barbara S. Alesi concentrates her practice in corporate and commercial matters,
including mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, private
placements of securities and mortgage and asset-based financing. She is a member
of both the New York State Bar Association, and the Nassau County Bar Association,
and has served on the Corporation Law Committee. In addition, she has served
as Chair of the North Shore Animal League America President’s Advisory
Board and as a member of the Advisory Board of Chicago Title Insurance Company.
Ms. Alesi has also served as an Executive Board member of the National Association
of Women Business Owners-LI Chapter and on the Membership Committee of the Executive
Women’s Golf Association, Long Island Chapter. She has been recognized
by the New York Real Estate Journal in their annual Women in Real Estate
issue as well as many Long Island Business News’ listings including Top
50 Most Influential Women in Business (2001), Who’s Who in Women
in Professional Services (2007) and, most recently, Who’s Who
in Women in Corporate Law (2009).
