F. Carlino, Esq. (1942-2006)
Joseph F. Carlino (Fordham University School of Law, 1939)
was a member of the New York State Assembly from 1945 to
1964, during which time he was the Majority Leader (1955-1959)
and the Speaker of the Assembly (1959-1964). He joined the
firm in 1987.
Throughout his legal career, Mr. Carlino litigated significant
cases involving anti-trust, zoning, environmental law and
commercial lease issues. He also served as a legislative
representative in Albany, NY for a wide variety of interests.
He was a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and
a member of the Board of Directors of Allstate Life Insurance
Company of New York.
