Brian J. Hufnagel (Fordham University School of Law, 2002) joined the Firm in 2008 and concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, debtor and creditors' rights, representing lenders and consumers in foreclosures and litigation. Prior to joining the Firm, he was a trial attorney with the Office of the United States Trustees, where he worked on corporate and consumer bankruptcy cases, including evidentiary hearings and trials. Mr. Hufnagel has represented diverse clients in a variety of bankruptcy cases including representing a creditor in the liquidation of a large retail chain, representing commercial landlords seeking relief from the automatic stay, representing Chapter 11 debtors including a vitamin manufacturer and a foreign jewelry manufacturer, as well as prosecuting and defending preference complaints and other adversary proceedings.

Mr. Hufnagel is as member of the Nassau County Bar Association and is admitted to practice in New York as well as the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
